Let's see..how much can I condense my life into what you are about to read?

I was born to a Danish mother and a Swiss father. I spent my first seven years in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. Moving to Denmark was the first of many relocations in my life, which took me through three different countries, two continents, four languages, six schools and six homes until graduating from high school. After a painful divorce from my bipolar father, my mother accepted a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to relocate to Brazil. We spent three of our best years in the exotic South America of the '80s. Returning to Denmark at the age of 15 was the perfect time for finishing high school the Danish way.

Being drafted into the army at the Royal Artillery Regiment tested me as a young adult; it was life-changing and affirming. I spent a year in the heart of Paris, learning the basics of fine arts before attending The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, earning a Master's in Spatial Design. This program taught me to create innovative and immersive concepts, pay attention to detail, and design physical and psychological experiences. However, my starting career took me on a different and unforeseen road as a pioneer of the new digital age. I used my sense of aesthetics and the knowledge of creating physical experiences to develop online experiences instead. By chance, I was offered a job opportunity in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and my family and I moved there for eight years. Amongst the many new acquaintances, some became friends for life - questions about my values showed their actual nature through the many outrageous parties, unfulfilled dreams, self-doubt, and depression, together with the unbearable desert heat. It all came with inexhaustible love for my wife, children, and newborn son. Up and down, my emotional state went - as life does. Strangely enough, not long after moving back home to Denmark, we almost felt that we had never left in the first place. My career took off again - this time at warp speed. But the pace of the successful Tech startup seduced me with an untamed and vibrant culture, exceptionally talented colleagues, travelling the open skies with unbearable responsibilities, and running to please everyone else but myself - ultimately broke me.

The rest is another story, another journey, another gift - a new life.
